Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have:ElevenLabs Account
Sign up at elevenlabs.io and obtain your API key
Twilio Account
Create an account at twilio.com for phone number management
Step 1: Create Your Account
- Navigate to the signup page at
/signup - Enter your email address and create a password
- Check your inbox for the verification email
- Click the verification link to activate your account
Email verification is required before you can access Renchi AI. The link expires after 24 hours.
Step 2: Complete Your Profile
After verifying your email, you’ll be prompted to complete your profile:Step 3: Connect Your Integrations
Navigate to Settings → Integrations to connect the required services:ElevenLabs Connection

Get Your API Key
Log into your ElevenLabs account and copy your API key from the dashboard

Enter API Key
Paste the key into the ElevenLabs integration field in Settings

Verify Connection
The status indicator will turn green when successfully connected
Twilio Connection (Optional)
If you want to use your own phone numbers:- Go to Settings → Integrations → Twilio
- Enter your Twilio Account SID and Auth Token
- Click Connect to authorize
Twilio integration is optional. You can also use phone numbers provisioned directly through ElevenLabs.
Step 4: Create Your First Agent
With integrations connected, you’re ready to create your first voice agent:- Navigate to Agents in the sidebar
- Click the + Add Agent button
- Configure your agent:
- Name: Give your agent a descriptive name (e.g., “Main Reception”)
- Voice: Select from available UK/US voice models
- Greeting: Customize the initial greeting message
- Phone Number: Assign a phone number to receive calls
Step 5: Configure Business Hours
Set your operating hours so the agent knows when to handle calls vs. take messages:- Go to Settings → Organization → Business Hours
- Set your daily schedule (e.g., Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
- Configure after-hours behavior:
- Take voicemail
- Route to emergency line
- Offer callback scheduling
Step 6: Test Your Agent
Before going live, test your agent:- Call the assigned phone number
- Interact with the AI to verify:
- Greeting plays correctly
- Voice sounds natural
- Responses are appropriate
- Check the Conversations page to see your test call logged
